A big part of why I photograph is because I enjoy using the gear. When it comes to shooting pleasure, it’s hard to beat my Nikon FE. As spring was starting, I mounted my 55mm f/2.8 Micro-Nikkor lens to it. I found some Kodak Vericolor III, expired since November, 2000, in the freezer. I let it warm up, loaded it, and set the ASA dial to 64 hoping it would compensate for the film’s age. This was an ISO 160 film.
